Puerto Vallarta
Puerto Vallarta has been one of the most popular party destinations for those looking for cheap Mexico vacations. Because of the massive number of spring break travelers who flock to the city when school is out, Puerto Vallarta is wildly popular for those looking for cheap Mexico vacations in a party oriented city. Puerto Vallarta sees over 300,000 people traveling to the city during the spring break season alone. They’re brought to the city by tour companies who operate charter flights from around North America. Of course, the cheap Mexico all inclusive vacation packages offered by travel agents cover a large portion of the alcohol consumed by the students who come each year.
Of course, Puerto Vallarta doesn’t just cater to those looking for cheap vacations to Mexico. Puerto Vallarta is an exciting, vibrant city year round, and the party atmosphere carries over even when the college crowd goes home. A cheap, all inclusive Mexico vacation doesn’t have to involve heavy partying, but Puerto Vallarta is well suited to satisfying those urges should a visitor want to unwind.
Cozumel
Cozumel is yet another of Mexico’s popular party cities. While the typical crowd that visits Cozumel is more mature than at some other spring break destinations, Cozumel has plenty to keep visitors busy. Cozumel is a popular cruise ship port, and it’s not unusual for thousands of cruise passengers to flood the city on a given day. These cruisers often have little more on their minds than stretching their legs, and they go looking for fun in the sun almost as soon as their feet hit the dock. Travel agents who specialize in the Cozumel area often offer cheap Mexico vacation packages, though they are typically of longer duration than students who come down for spring break during the spring. Cozumel is located on the eastern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, about 30 miles south of Cancun.
Cancun
Cancun is the most popular tourist city in Mexico. The city itself sees millions of visitors annually, and a large portion of them come because the city has a reputation of being one of the wildest party towns in the Western Hemisphere. Hundreds of thousands of visitors come to the city in order to take advantage of the inexpensive drinks and to enjoy the company of the other spring break travelers in the city. Of course, the legal drinking age in Mexico is significantly lower than in the United States, and that remains one of the most significant reasons the city is popular with tourists. Cancun offers the most beach area of any major Mexican resort city, and its proximity to both Cozumel and Isla Mujeres ensures that travelers can flock to its bars, restaurants, and beaches during the height of the party season to enjoy the debauchery that runs so rampant. Nearly all the properties along the beach offer cheap Mexico all inclusive vacations to those who come to the city, though many of them do charge extra for non-domestic alcohol. During the height of the party season, that’s where a large portion of a hotel’s income is gained.
Mazatlan
Mazatlan is one of Mexico’s largest cities. With a population of nearly half a million, the city is amazingly popular with guests from the west coast of the United States. Mazatlan is located across the Gulf of California from the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula. Because of its proximity to large Western universities, Mazatlan has remained a popular vacation destination for those looking to let their hair down and party for hours, and the city itself has done its level best to ensure that travel agents who offer cheap vacations to Mexico steer a large percentage of their business to Mazatlan. The city uses incentives to entice the agents into sending spring break travelers to Mazatlan to enjoy the party atmosphere of the city’s myriad bars and dance clubs. Of course, Mazatlan is also Mexico’s largest seaport, and hundreds of cruise ships dock there each year. They bring people from all over the world, and the parties in Mazatlan are considered among the best in the world. It’s not unusual for thousands of people to congregate on the city’s beaches in order to party by the sea. Of course, the city’s residents typically do that less than the tourists to the area, and the area lacks many of the all-inclusive resorts that other Mexican cities boast. Mazatlan’s bustling seaport means that the city has a significantly higher per capita income than many other Mexican tourist destinations, and the local populace does like to mingle with tourists, as well. For that reason, Mazatlan is considered one of Mexico’s friendliest cities.
Cabo San Lucas
Cabo San Lucas, known by millions of partygoers worldwide as just “Cabo,” has remained one of the largest destinations for party travel since the Mexican government revitalized the area for tourism in the 1970s. Cabo San Lucas has one of the largest numbers of dance clubs and bars for cities of its size, and even musical great Sammy Hagar of Van Halen maintains a bar in the city. Cabo is home to vacation homes of many of the wealthiest and influential people in the world, and many of the A-list Hollywood actors vacation there, as well. More than half of Mexico’s top 20 resorts are located in the area surrounding Cabo, and the properties are among the most luxurious in the world. While not all are all inclusive, a few of the resorts offer all inclusive options to entice guests to visit.
